For brand new students to jiu jitsu or martial arts. This is a low impact, shallow water introduction to self-defense and its benefits. Students are welcome to stay for the Fundamentals class right after.

In 2020, Ralph Gracie BJJ - Santa Clara opened its doors as a sister gym to Ralph Gracie BJJ - San Jose. The San Jose location opened in 2019 when Ralph Gracie Mountain View moved to San Jose after 25 years. Our head instructor, Adisa Bojanko, has 20+ years of experience under Ralph Gracie.
For newer students, we focus on straightforward techniques with the help of advanced students, improving physical fitness, and BJJ lifestyle. Sparring is optional.
